Terms of Service

1. Service

Sigmon (“the Service”) is a competitive intelligence platform for software companies. By using the Service, you agree to these terms.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must provide accurate information when creating an account. One person or legal entity may not maintain more than one free account.

3. Data Collection

Sigmon collects competitive intelligence from publicly available sources (GitHub, npm, job boards, Hacker News, Reddit, etc.) using official APIs. We do not scrape websites. All data collected is from public sources and is processed for your private use only.

4. AI-Generated Content

Insights, reports, and intel profiles are generated by AI models. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content should be verified independently before making business decisions. Sigmon is not liable for decisions made based on AI-generated analysis.

5. Subscription & Payment

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually through our payment partner Lemon Squeezy. You may cancel at any time from your billing portal. Upon cancellation, your plan will remain active until the end of the current billing period, then revert to the free plan.

Refunds are available within 14 days of purchase if you are not satisfied with the Service. Contact us to request a refund.

6. Data Ownership

You own your data. We do not sell, share, or use your competitive intelligence data for any purpose other than providing the Service to you. You may export or delete your data at any time.

7. Acceptable Use

You may not use the Service to: (a) violate any law or regulation, (b) harass, abuse, or harm another person, (c) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems, (d) interfere with or disrupt the Service, (e) use automated means to access the Service beyond normal API usage.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. Sigmon shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
