• Account data: Email address, hashed password, product context you provide during onboarding.
• Competitor data: Names, domains, and identifiers of competitors you choose to track.
• Intelligence data: Signals, insights, reports, and intel profiles generated through your use of the Service.
• Usage data: Page views and feature usage to improve the product. No third-party analytics.

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used solely to provide and improve the Service. Specifically:

• Generating personalized competitive insights and reports
• Sending weekly digest emails (if enabled)
• Delivering real-time alerts via Slack, Discord, or webhooks (if configured)
• Improving AI analysis quality

We do not sell, share, or rent your data to third parties. Ever.

Third-Party Services

• Supabase — Authentication and database hosting (EU region)
• OpenRouter — AI model inference for insight generation
• Lemon Squeezy — Payment processing and subscription management
• Public APIs — GitHub, npm, Hacker News, etc. for data collection

Each service has its own privacy policy. We only share the minimum data required for each service to function.

Data Security

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. API keys are stored encrypted. We use row-level security (RLS) in our database to ensure users can only access their own data.

Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. Signal and insight data older than 90 days may be archived. Upon account deletion, all data is permanently removed within 30 days.

Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and theme preferences only. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics scripts.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access — Request a copy of all data we hold about you
• Correct — Update inaccurate personal data
• Export — Download your data in a machine-readable format
• Delete — Request permanent deletion of your account and all associated data

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
